Day 12 – Christmas Eve

Feliz Noche Buena!!!

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following along with me these past 12 Days. The recipes I’ve shared with you were recipes that I had sworn to secrecy. Though, since starting this Blog I now have the passion to share with everyone. What’s the point of keeping all these secrets and not sharing the love. I love sharing the love!!!

Okay enough of the soppy love stuff!!! I spent 2 days in the kitchen making these 12 days of goodies believe it or not. I committed one day to Baking and one day to Candy Making, adding 3 BRAND NEW RECIPES. I actually didn’t end up tasting my treats until 3 days later when the combined smell of candy and baked goods had left my nostrils. I impressed myself and gave myself a good ole’ pat on the back.

Day 12- Recap of the 11 Recipes Shared:

Day 1- Milk Chocolate Almond Clusters

An easy and delicious Chocolate and Almond treat.

If I didn’t have these braces I would have devoured these!

Life Amor Family's Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Day 2- Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are melt in your mouth delicious!

The first goodie to completely disappear in Casa Orduno.

Day 3- White Chocolate Coconut Haystacks

A festive White Chocolate and Flaked Coconut candy that resembles Snow Balls.

Probably my most requested Christmas recipe. How stoked are you all to find out it’s super easy to make?!

Life Amor Family's 12 Days of Baking and Candy Making Day 4 English Toffee

Day 4- English Toffee

A Homemade MUCH tastier Almond Roca candy. Made right out of your kitchen with ingredients you probably have on hand already!

Another treat I would rip these braces off to eat! Kidding 🙂

Life Amor Family's 12 Days of Baking and Candy Making Day 5 Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Day 5- Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

To me, these taste the most like Christmas. The combination of spices and ingredients are so comforting and just feel like home.

I enjoyed having a couple of these with my morning cup of coffee… until they were gone.

Life Amor Family's 12 days of baking and candy making day 6 Fudge

Day 6- Fudge

Fudge made with or without chopped walnuts. Silky Smooth and rich taste. A Holiday Staple.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but this fudge is SO GOOD!!!!

LifeAmorFamily's 12 Days of Baking and Candy Making day 7 Raspberry Brie Bites

Day 7- Raspberry Brie Pastry Bites

A bite size pastry with a sweet and savory taste

My Step Mother actually requested I make these. I was a little hesitant, Brie cheese is not my favorite. But the more I ate the more I liked. Give them a try I’m sure you’ll like them too!

Life Amor Family's 12 Days of Baking and Candy Making Day 8 Peppermint Bark

Day 8- Peppermint Bark

My Niece’s Favorite! Layered White and Dark Chocolate with tiny pieces of Peppermint Candy.

I LOVE the taste of White Chocolate and Peppermint. This year I decided i’d spruce it up a little bit and add the Dark Chocolate. Excellent Choice!

LifeAmorFamily's 12 Days of Baking and Candy Making Day 9- Cinnamon Rolls

Day 9- Mini Cinnamon Rolls

Suggested by my Step Brother. Tiny Cinnamon Rolls rolled with a brown sugar and cinnamon mixture topped with a cream cheese glaze.

There’s a really good and a really bad thing about these mini cinnis. The Good- They’re SUPER yummy. The Bad- You can’t just eat one!

  Day 10- Chocolate Pecan Turtles

Pecans topped with Caramel and Chocolate. Recipe includes an easy homemade caramel sauce.

PSA: Not Actual Turtles

Day 11- Mini Maple Bacon Bundt Cakes

Mini Bundt Cakes brushed with Rum, Glazed with a Pure Maple Glaze and topped with Soft Shredded Bacon

I knew I was taking a risk when creating this recipe. But the risk paid off and I received nothing but positive Feedback from these bad boys.
